Spring Break Part 1- Nice!

Sorry this took so long! Every time I set aside time to blog something always came up. The weather has been so nice here lately that I’ve been spending a lot of time out in the courtyard or at the lake a few towns away. To make up for it, I will do less words and more pictures.

  

Tyne and I started spring break by going to Nice, France. I didn’t tell too many people from home this because I knew I would get the response “did you see the movie taken?” but we traveled alone for the most part. We ended up meeting up with Haley and Madalyn when they were in Nice and then for a day trip in Antibes. Our trip also overlapped with a group from A&M on our last night, so we weren’t totally alone. We stayed in Nice for 5 days and got to see Monaco as well as Antibes. We went to the Monte Carlo Casino for all you James Bond fans out there. We were even good students and went to a modern art museum, which was really cool. We found an English-speaking bar with live music and went 3 of the nights we were there. We met great people there, danced on tables, and had such a wonderful time. Nice was a wonderful experience and I would give anything to go back some day! It is definitely my favorite place I’ve been so far and I have even booked a trip to Paris for next weekend so I can go ahead and say that I love France.
